iCommunify Ticket Terms & Conditions
1) Parties and Roles (Important)
1.1 Merchant of Record / Seller. For all Ticket purchases completed through iCommunify, [iCommunify legal entity name] (“iCommunify,” “we,” “us”) is the merchant of record and the entity that processes your payment.
1.2 Event Provider (Club/Organizer). The club/organizer hosting the event is the “Event Provider.” The Event Provider is responsible for producing and operating the event itself (the “Event”), including admission rules, venue conduct, safety, and event delivery.
Example: If you buy a ticket for an event hosted by X Club at any university (“Event Provider”), X Club at any university operates the Event, and iCommunify sells/distributes the ticket and processes payment.
1.3 Ticket Wallet Service. iCommunify provides a digital ticket wallet and ticket delivery/access tools (for example, QR code or in-app pass). iCommunify does not control the Event Provider’s operations, but iCommunify remains responsible for the payment transaction as merchant of record.
2) Acceptance; Electronic Signature
By clicking “Pay,” “Purchase,” “Complete Order,” or similar, you agree to these Ticket Terms and confirm you have read the Event details and policies shown on the checkout page and/or event listing.
You consent to electronic records and signatures. iCommunify may store records of your acceptance (timestamp, account ID, device/session identifiers).
3) Ticket Nature; Admission
3.1 License to Attend. A ticket is a revocable license to attend the Event, subject to the Event Provider’s rules and venue policies.
3.2 Entry Requirements. The Event Provider may require (as applicable): valid student ID, government ID, matching name, age verification, dress code compliance, and compliance with venue security.
3.3 Denied Entry. If you are denied entry due to failure to meet entry requirements, violation of rules, intoxication, misconduct, safety concerns, or suspected fraud, you will not receive a refund, except where required by law.
4) Prices, Fees, and Taxes
4.1 Pricing. Ticket prices and capacities are set by the Event Provider and displayed before checkout.
4.2 Fees. Your order total may include service fees/processing fees (if any), shown before you complete purchase.
4.3 Taxes. Taxes may apply depending on jurisdiction and will be displayed where required.
5) ALL SALES FINAL; NO REFUNDS (Primary Policy)
5.1 No Refunds. ALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL. Tickets are non-refundable and non-returnable except:
- where required by applicable law, or
- as specifically stated in Section 6 (Event Cancellation).
5.2 Examples of Non-Refundable Reasons. No refunds due to schedule conflicts, travel, weather discomfort, illness, mistaken purchase, failure to attend, or dissatisfaction (unless required by law).
This section is designed to be clearly disclosable at checkout. Visa expects clear disclosure and click-to-accept for online policies.
6) Event Changes, Rescheduling, and Cancellation
6.1 Changes. Event details (date, time, location, program, speakers, format, admission rules) may change. The Event Provider is responsible for communicating changes.
6.2 Rescheduled/Postponed Events. If the Event is rescheduled, your ticket remains valid for the rescheduled date/time unless the Event Provider explicitly states otherwise. No refunds solely because of a reschedule, except where required by law.
6.3 Canceled Events. If the Event is canceled and not rescheduled, iCommunify will issue refunds to the original payment method for the ticket price and any required fees, unless a different remedy is required or permitted by law (for example, credit only where allowed).
7) Delivery and Use of Tickets
7.1 Delivery. Tickets are delivered digitally (for example, in-app wallet, QR code, or email confirmation).
7.2 Ticket Verification. The Event Provider may scan/verify tickets at entry and may record attendance (for example, scan logs).
8) Transfers; Resale; Fraud
8.1 No Unauthorized Resale. Tickets may be non-transferable and void if resold or transferred outside iCommunify, if stated in the event listing.
